Society Rules

All members are requested to arrive at the course 30 minutes before tee off time and at the tee box at least 10 minutes before tee off. Should a team arrive missing any players the team will be required to tee off and the missing player will miss out. Should an entire line be late the slot will be filled by the next line ready and if time permits the late line will tee off last.

The Timesheet will be posted to the website at least five days before the outing. It is therefore advised that each player wishing to play in an outing is fully signed up a least one week in advance of the outing.

If an outing has been paid for and a player fails to turn up giving adequate notice, the fees paid for that outing by the player will be forfeited. If however, adequate notice is given and an substitute can be found, a full refund shall be given.

Any player with a GUI handicap will be scored of the same otherwise the handicap allocated by Woodlands Golf Society will apply.

Every member of the society MUST abide by the local rules of each golf course that the society participates on.

If a player signs up and pays for an event but does not turn up on the day, the green fees they have paid will not be refunded and the green fees will be added to the prize fund.

If for any reason, an event has to be cancelled, a full refund will be paid to all players that have paid for that event.
